Today's tennis has a straightforward shape. The National Bank Open begins in Canada, with the ATP draw in Montreal and the WTA draw in Toronto both starting first-round play. At the same time, the earlier hard-court stops are down to their final exchanges: Washington has semi-finals on both tours, Memphis is into its closing stage, and Los Cabos is down to the last match.
