US Open first round leads a full day of tennis

The US Open main draw is in its first round, while Winston-Salem and Monterrey reach their semi-finals.

The day belongs to New York, where the US Open is in full swing. Both the men's and women's main draws are in the first round, and qualifying is still being played. The pick of the first-round matches come in the early session, so there is strong tennis to watch from the start.
